What is the OEPI project about? OEPI delivers a business network solution that allows companies to easily share their organization- and product-level Environmental Performance Indicators (EPIs) with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, customers, public authorities, etc). Companies often request such EPIs from business partners – and similarly have to respond to such requests – in order to incorporate these in reporting and decision-making processes. With OEPI‘s many-to-many approach, companies share their corporate and product EPIs once on the network instead of creating a different response for each request. The project demonstrates how companies leverage the solution to incorporate sustainability into the daily business operations, such as purchasing, product design, and reporting.
